or music The Revival era (1994–2000) - Thanks in large part to the faithful dedication of True Skoolers, bboying has made a widespread return conscious-wise and mainstream-wise, by both putting it out there and inspiring a new generation of breakers to explode onto the scene (as well as bringing closet bboys out of the woodwork)...Because it was starting to be fully realized & reminded by the whole Hip Hop community that bboying is a part of Hip Hop culture. But this caught Mainstream America by surprise, leaving them wondering why "breakdancing is making a comeback?". Big businesses would start using bboys in their commercials & ads again, even sponsoring events. And this time around, efforts were made to inject the right image of the art form & culture.
1994:

The first annual B-boy Summit debuts, in San Diego, being held at the 432F Show in the Golden Hall courtyard (3rd & B Street) of the San Diego Community Concourse. Created by Asia One, with Easy Roc, J-Love, & Zulu Nation San Diego chapter, to fill the void of bboys/bgirls, at that point in time in America, not having a platform on which to gather, dance, and pay homage to b-boying...thus kicking off the Revival Era in America.
