or music The Winter Season of b-boying (Mid 1985–1990) - As a predictable result of Mainstream exploitation, there would no longer be a thriving bboy environment in the majority of the country (mainly the USA). Real bboys were left alienated by those who considered it to be a passing fad. The funk styles were also getting dissed. Corporate America no longer used the bboy in its ads. Mainstream America no longer supported a larger environment for the bboy. This had truly become a barren land for b-boying across the USA. But this was only in a widespread, mainstream sense...There were many True Skoolers who never stopped dancing throughout this period, including in Europe. For them, widely popular or not, b-boying was just another part of them.
1985:
The movie KRUSH GROOVE comes out. Its a Hip Hop movie focusing on the music.
1986:

UK Fresh, in London, UK, at Wembley Stadium (room/space? edition? times? format? content? producer?)
Bboy Storm (of Battle Squad) sets a Guinness Book Of World Record for most windmills.
1988:
1989:
